Our Theology

We believe that the Bible is God’s written revelation to man. The 66 books of the Bible given to us by the Holy Spirit is the Word of God. We believe that the Word of God to be verbally inspired in every word, absolutely inerrant in the original documents, infallible, and God-breathed. Further, we believe that the Word of God is completely sufficient for life, godliness and sanctification in the Person of Christ Jesus and is the means of God to accomplish His ends

We believe that while there may be multiple applications to Scripture, that every Scripture has only one meaning or interpretation. We believe that every Christian should study Scripture faithfully to understand its true context and meaning.

1 Corinthians 2:7-14; 2 Peter 1:20-21; 2 Timothy 3:16; Isaiah 55:10-11; Psalm 19:7-11; John 17:17; Romans 10:17; 2 Timothy 3:17

We believe that there is one living, true God. He is an infinite, all-knowing Spirit perfect in all His attributes, one in essence, eternally existing in three Persons—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit--each equally deserving worship and obedience.

Deuteronomy 6:4; Isaiah 45:5-7; 1 Corinthians 8:4; John 4:24; Matthew 28:19; 2 Corinthians 13:14

We believe that man was created by God in His image and likeness, free of sin.

We believe that man was created by God for His glory to live His life in the will of God accomplishing what He has purposed.

We believe that in Adam’s sin of disobedience against God's Word, man became subject to the penalty of spiritual and physical death as well as the wrath of God. Therefore, man is corrupt unable to do good apart from divine grace. Man is hopelessly lost. Man’s salvation is thereby wholly of God’s grace through the redemptive work of our Lord Jesus Christ.

We believe all are sinners by nature, by choice, and by divine declaration.

(Genesis 2:7, 15-25; James 3:9; Isaiah 43:7; Colossians 1:16; Revelation 4:11; Genesis 2:16-17; 3:1-19; John 3:36; Romans 3:23; 6:23; 1 Corinthians 2:14; Ephesians 2:1-3; 1 Timothy 2:13-14; 1 John 1:8; Psalm 14:1-3; Jeremiah 17:9; Romans 3:9-18, 23; 5:10-12)

We believe that salvation is wholly of God by sovereign grace on the basis of the redemptive work of Jesus Christ, and His shed blood on the cross. There is nothing that man can do to earn or work for salvation. Salvation comes through repentance and faith in Christ alone. It is the supernatural work of the Holy Spirit accomplished through the Word of God.

We believe that all believers, once saved, are kept by God’s power and are eternally secure in Christ forever.

We believe that all Christians are set apart for the Lord. We also believe that the Christian life is one that reflects obedience and a continual pursuit of holiness.
